About Us

Girl Impact Dynamic Africa (GID Africa) is a non-government organisation located in Kampala, Uganda. We are a fully registered organisation focused on uplifting underprivileged girls and women in Uganda, with a team passionate about giving back to the local community. Our Work

Our focus is on improving wealth, land, personal, and health security for all Ugandan girls and women. So, we work with partners across Uganda to provide educational programs and employment training, distribute menstrual health and pregnancy products, support agricultural sustainability, and promote stewardship and wealth creation.

In 2024 alone, GID has:

  • Put 54 girls into primary and secondary school

  • Taught 200+ girls to make reusable sanitary pads

  • Reached over 1000 Ugandan girls

Our Founding Story

Girl Impact Dynamic Africa (GID Africa was founded in 2022 by Gideon Kisekka, a pastor and musician who grew up as an orphan in Kampala, Uganda. His own experiences seeing the disadvantage faced by girls and women in his community inspired a lifelong mission to improve the lives of others. We provide the opportunity for donors to sponsor individual children to go to school and receive an education. Many children from impoverished backgrounds do not have this opportunity, but your ongoing support can make this possible.
